Travel to the Hidden Monastery to the East
In Interitus you play as a young elf, Liara, plagued by a soul-corrupting curse who must travel to a long-forgotten monastery located far behind the vast forests of the world of Nai'ru. You must fight through countless enemies and ensure your survival through the maze-like corridors of the monastery while searching for keys to open doors and progress further into the darkness. Defeat the boss and find the cure to your curse and unveil the secrets of the environment to complete the game.
Interitus is a dark and atmospheric Souls-like with Roguelite-elements, realistic 3D graphics and a grotesque, medieval-styled environment. Slash your way through monsters with satisfying combat moves and find your way through the ever-changing dungeon, that is built different with every playthrough.

Honestly, if this were anything but a short student project, I would rate it negatively. There are some core concepts done well here, but there are a lot of areas that also need work. Very impressive for what is a little over 2 months of work, though.2 found this helpful
Firstly I commend games which start out as school/university projects. Most end up surprisingly good and put broken, unfinished games by bad creators to shame. Interitus needs improvements. Now I'm all for difficult RPG's, but I can't even get past the first level! I don't know how ANYONE can! Most of the chests are empty rendering them pointless! Health is extremely scarce. In addition to that the combat is pretty poor. I can't tell if the main characters defence actually works. It's very jank and not in a good way. Die and you start all the way back to the beginning of the level. Sound options have some problems too. I can't hear what the female lead says whilst venturing throughout the dungeon. She's drowned out by the music. I've tried adjusting the sound volume sliders but nothing seems to work. On a good end for this review, the artwork in this game is great. The intro, our main characters bio, her backstory and motivation. Even all the monsters and magical objects she meets. The voice work that I can manage to hear is good. Music and Menu design is also well put together. Yes the game's free but it needs more brushing up.1 found this helpful
I like the idea of it. It seems like a student project. I really like the secret room. Couldn't figure out how to use the key to open the locked door though.
