Simple action game where your sense of rhythm will come in handy. Combat feels more like a rhythm game even though the game appears to be a typical action game. You can move right and sometimes attack a harmless cult member, but you lose movement when you enter a battle with an enemy. It's a much better idea to activate the feature that will move your hero forward on her own. The trick in combat is to read the movements of your opponent and avoid its attacks. Attacking is automatic and not under your control. Hitting enemies increases your rage. For a brief period of time after activation, the attack speed is significantly increased. Attacking also increases your attack speed. On the other hand, it decreases with each hit you take. Passive and active skills make the job a bit easier. You unlock new skills as you acquire new equipment. This is something you get as you hit milestones through the game. There are just three distinct pieces of equipment available for each of the three tiers—armor, axe, and artifact—so the variety isn't very good. Short simple and looks cool.

Love the soundtrack! Reminds me of Fleshgod Apocalypse / SepticFlesh. Tower defense stages are a fun break, the grind gets real, early on. I had fun going back and grinding to proceed.
