About KINESIS
KINESIS is a new first-person single player puzzle platformer developed and brought to you by Cosmic Key. Delve deep within this new ancient sci-fi realm known as kinesis. Unravelling the mysteries behind these mysterious powers that were left behind by the ancestors. Adventure further into the world of Kinesis, solving puzzles based around that of kinetic energy itself.
Key Features
Magnet
Strangely, this mark holds many secrets, allowing the utilisation of magnetism. This ability allows you to magnetise to the wall for a short period, allowing you to strategize your next jump/movement.
Sphere from an unknown dimension
Using your powers, create a sphere from the energy of an unknown dimension. Cast this sphere and teleport to it, consuming its energy while moving with formidable velocity through the air.

The ancient marks on your hands hold even more power than one would believe, burning once you stop momentum abruptly due to the sheer volume of force this ancient mark can hold. You can almost feel the magnitude of momentum reflecting to yourself.
Once absorbed and transformed into kinetic energy; it can be used to launch yourself into the direction you wish to travel.
The Mark
You bear an ancient mark behind both hands. These marks give you unprecedented access to interaction with the environment you find yourself within. Objects compatible with this ancient mark will allow you to teleport, and even convert the velocity of these objects into your very being.
The World of KINESIS
The Floating Islands
Nobody knows why these islands still remain, pieces of what could have been a planet, inhabited by many a lost soul. All you know is that these islands hold a great power, one which you can use and weald to your desire, traversing them with the ancient mark which seems to be a symbiotic relationship. You feel the islands breathe under your feet as much as they feel your heart beat.
The Ancient's Palace
Set foot within an ancient palace, abandoned by the ancestors. Press through this dust ridden monument of the old, scaling the grandiose landmark, leaving no stone unturned. Discover new puzzles set within the foundations of this ancient stronghold, unlocking the secrets of this once great citadel. Only you alone can discover why this giant stands and the power it holds within its very walls.

Game concept is great - POSITIVES: Level Design Mechanic Functionality Art NEGATIVES: Some mechanics seem to be used just for the sake of it being used. Mechanics, whilst cool, feel unpolished. Level transitions Comments: Props to the level designer, mechanics were utilised in an interesting way - although I found that the ball-on-button mechanic seemed to be used frequently just for the sake of it - what is the point of the ball spawning right next to the button at the end of some of the stages? It just seems like an unnecessary step to opening the portal to the next level. Jumping off the walls is inconsistent, and feels even more strange given that you can give yourself a lot of height, but not a lot of forward velocity. Also a little buggy, in certain cases I would rotate around the walls when attached to them. Needs a cross hair - launching the ball forwards is good, but if you just miss a jump it's a bit hard to replicate the velocity without a cross hair. A few jarring transitions - mainly just when loading levels and restarting the stage (though I can understand this if just for the sake of getting the player back into the action without a pause). I absolutly recommend this game. Not only is it a lot of fun to play but it also has replay value, providing a lot of different challenges no matter if you are a speedrunner or are just looking for an enjoyable and challenging 3D plattformer. Kinesis has some amazing visuals to offer. All of the assets and the environment look stunning so big props to the game artists! The puzzles start really simple for you to learn the mechanics and get harder with every level. There are also new mechanics and new types of levels interduced in the course of the game. This really keeps you interested since the game is constantly being developed further and new levels get released regularly. Even though sometimes bugs do still appear in the game the devs are always happy to hear feedback and work with the community to improve it. I recommend joining the discord :) There you can also learn about all the community events going on. Right now there is a speedrun event that challenges the players to find new faster ways to complete the levels. Which is a lot of fun after completing all of them in the intended way.9 found this helpful

It feels a bit like Portal mixed with Titanfall. Fun game from a small indie studio. I like it very much. Thumbs up. Final rating 8/10 You get what you expect.3 found this helpful
