Liege of the Labyrinth

[edit] I'm gonna go on and give this a thumbs up, but read the below - it's a very hesitant thumbs up. Add to the list of bugs: super difficult to select friendly characters for healing. You gotta kajigger the screen to get it to select the character and not the empty space on the other side of the character. ok listen. I WANT to give this a thumbs up - I really do. The idea is great, going from one room to another in a dungeon is unique and having roaming baddies is super red-box D&D and I dig it greatly. The combat could use some polish (may I suggest fade_in_out for your tweens?) but it's also fun. The problem is that it's pretty buggy, and doesn't give a lot of choices at the start. Closing the game locks up the client. Gotta hard-kill it. When you start a game, you are handed six characters at random - fighter, cleric, thief, wizard, and then two additionals at random. You get zero say in what spells are chosen for your wizard(s). If anything, at least letting us pick six out of, say, twelve randomized duders would be much better. There's an awful lot of baddies that are immune to ice and poison at the first level, and the game insists on giving me ice and poison abilitie…

This is a fun game to play; I enjoy the challenge of surviving each labyrinth level. The enemies move often and don't just stand there letting you hit them and having an inventory limit keeps me engaged in deciding what is most important to hold onto. Yes, there are some bugs in v1.0, but I have not had anything happen that made the game unplayable. I recommend giving this game a try!
