Maid Mech

Game is fun but too short for me, needs some more content! Took me 10 min. to figure out some mechanics cause i wasn't paying attention hahaha. Still game is short so it needs some update and content.

A fun but simple auto battler at a great price that I found during the Steam Demo fest. I got around 6ish hours before I started feeling bored which is fine for what this is. It is not the hardest game, but getting incredibly broken builds is pretty entertaining to watch. As far as complaints go, there are some unit buffs I can't get to trigger (not sure if they are bugged or just not showing), the likelihood your units missing and firing a shot into the ground can be comical at times if the rng is bad, and if you get a broken fire rate on certain units, the fps will become a slideshow. Overall a 7/10. Pretty good for a game I got on sale for around a $1.

Was skeptical at first when i Found it randomly but it turned out to be pretty fun especially for only 3 euro. recommended it to one of my friends and they too think its good. Only wish is that it could do with more difficulty at hard because i feel its too easy.

Maid Mech is a game that prioritizes a solid gameplay loop over flashy refinement. While the lack of "polish" is noticeable, it actually works in the game’s favor; it has the cozy, experimental energy of a game jam or itch.io project. It feels welcoming, as if you’re growing along with the developer’s community rather than just playing a finished product. The Gameplay: The mechanics are simple and effective. You choose two "doctrines" (unit pools) and spend each round buying or upgrading your units. The real replayability lies in mixing and matching these doctrines to discover unique synergies and builds. Final Verdict: Given the price point, it is definitely worth checking out. I’m excited to see what these developers put out next! Note for the Devs: UI: The fonts are a bit on the small side—still readable, but could use a scale-up for accessibility. Technical: Just a heads-up that the bottom left corner of the menu indicates this is a debug build! Technical: I ran the game on Linux using Proton. It worked fine. As Unity supports Linux builds, consider publishing for Linux too.

Maid Mech - is a small, cute autobattler. The game is Short ,but replayable with different setups. The difficulty is mostly easy even on hard ,main difficulty comes more from decisions in between the encounters , picking the right unit or upgrading ;will change how easy the run will go. Visually the game looks good , and is readable. I encountered one bug with flame trower and cryo trower units not shooting half of the time. Beside that cute game 7.5/10.
