I really love this game. But you shouldn't buy it, even at a deep discount. It's a great concept, great design and it drips with style and atmosphere. But, the fact is, after an hour or two of putting up with minor jank because it is otherwise awesome, you WILL encounter game-breaking bugs. I was so excited for this game. It dredged up memories of Syndicate and Crusader: No Remorse / Regret. But then it just sucked. If I could get a refund I would (even though I got it for like 5 bucks). I wish the developers the best. This game had incredible potential then, in the end, came to nothing because the developers couldn't see past their amazing concept and actually deliver it in a working package. Keep going, but try harder.

ugh. so liberal you can vomit. the style audio video and perspective lured mee in. the gameplay is passable but .. weak. yet the capital sin is ideological. filled with women, with minorities, with stupid ideas

I want to recommend this... but I cannot in good conscience do that, as it broke during the tutorial. I was punching the guards to death, as you do... Because the game let me do that. And inevitably, I got detected by one... Game over, right? Well, kinda... It bugged out and fed me through a loop of constantly being detected, because it'd load back in right when the guard detected me. Even spamming my autoclicker to try and move as soon as I load back in, no... stuck. So the game broke on the tutorial. That's a pretty bad start for a game. Other than that, there was a jump mechanic that made it look like your character was peeing. I had to jump through a window and... you really REALLY have to be standing in the exact right spot while doing that. It was just an awful time. Positives? I mean, it breaks in the tutorial so any positives are null and void. But I want to be fair to the game. The music had a nice vibe to it, very Terminator. The art style is cool, very fallout 1-2. The tutorial guy called me the master of doors, clearly respecting my brilliance. (He may have been sarcastic, but jokes on him, I love sarcasm)

I've barely played this game but I have to say it's one of the best I've ever played. There's something about it I can't really explain. It's not for everyone and can be pretty unintuitive but that's what I like about it. It's criminally underrated for all the right reasons.

A wonderfully complex, nuanced, and ambitious game; a little overwhelming at first, but highly engaging and addictive.

Broken, jank-city. I don't know if the devs built something really cool and broke off more than they could chew or what, but within two hours, I was already finding blatantly obvious leveling exploits (without looking for them) and ruining the game. I LOVE a crunchy, crunchy game, and this was supposed to be that, but man, the crunch doesn't feel like it even matters. I'm just going through, mowing things down, going through the story, feeling like none of it matters. Then I start looking deeper. The graphics are...I do not think they are entirely stylistic--there is some sum of limitation going on here. So many reused sprites and very early palette swaps. Character designs are CalArts; I'm sick of seeing it. Same basic design language as so many other games. The more I tried to like it, the more I didn't. I stopped looking. Damn I wanted this to be a good game. I refunded it awhile back and rebought it; I wish I could refund it again. And I know it is never going to get fixed. I know the devs have washed their hands of it.
