a nice little indie game it's nothing groundbreaking, but if you have an itch for a roguelike where you collect monsters to power up your hero that you need to scratch, then Monster Path has got you covered the game can be quite challenging, especially in the early stages where there are not many options to heal your party. and once you beat it there is not that much replayability the game is probably not for everyone, but I enjoyed playing it6 found this helpful
This game has severe optimization issues that destroy your resources. I chalk this up mainly being a Unity Engine game and how horrendous the engine itself is. This game still seems to be incredibly unoptimized. I have an RTX 3050, 32gb RAM, I7-9700 CPU and this game uses over 90% of my CPU at all times. I can't multitask when playing this. It crashed my OperaGX browser and I lost my browsing session and can't recover it because of this game's CPU nonsense. There's absolutely no reason for this.5 found this helpful
Fun little time killer with cute graphics and turn base combat. Moves appear to be randomly generated upon every level up adding roguelike elements to the game. On top of that a pet mechanic is in the game were you can befriend the wild creatures encountered on the map that net you passive perks and bonuses. The game is bare bones but still a fun time to mess around and kill some time with.3 found this helpful
Monster Path is a cute roguelike turn based RPG. You have two characters that can choose between one of four moves of different strength, element, and bonuses that can be swapped out for new moves each level. Each time you defeat an enemy, you can gain a related bonus. The fundamentals are okay, but it's slow to play, there are repetitive fights, and there aren't many sound effects. There are probably better choices out there.2 found this helpful
