Sophie the Maid (CV: Michaela Laws) - Your best friend and personal maid! She is a silly maid who loves to spoil you and make you happy on top of making sure your fit for royalty. However, with guests, she is very straightforward and polite; almost a complete 180 switch.

My Lady is a romantic Visual Novel. The game is quite short, but it still boasts 5 different endings. The art is modest but alright, the music is pretty good and immersive, but the voice acting is... amateurish. The story is fine, but it lacks quite a lot of depth. Some of the mysteries aren't really explained which is a shame, but the plot is interesting. For how cheap it is, I did enjoy reading the twenty minutes or so of text and learn about the characters. I gotta say the characters are one of the strongest point, they each have very detailed personalities considering how short they are on screen. Overall, could've used a lot more depth, but considering the low price, it's an alright Visual Novel.3 found this helpful
I think about this game a lot more often than I think is probably necessary. It's sad and beautiful. I highly recommend it.1 found this helpful
A butler and his lady is a pairing I really love, but this game doesn't convey what is appealing about the dynamic at all. I expected more hints of the butler's feelings, like him helping you with everyday tasks with much more effort than is needed just to please you, and maybe his mask slipping just a bit, and I definitely expected MUCH more romance, but the story is so short that it cannot possibly communicate what the author was probably hoping to convey. As somebody who has worked on Renpy visual novels like this one, I understand how much work something like this takes, but I feel like a lot more heart could have been put into this. The voice acting and art are completely passable for something of this price, but it's the lack of character depth that really does the game in for me. I can tell this is very much an indie game, so I feel bad criticizing it to this extent, but I feel like the author should have avoided the alternate endings and instead added at least a little more romance or tension to the main storyline. Just a little more content and interaction between you and your lover would make this game feel worth it. The first half is spent in your room reading letters…

Very good short romance. The voice acting is phenomenal <3
My Lady is a short, simple visual novel about forbidden love. The game takes place in a medieval-ish time with horse drawn carriages and a caste hierarchy system. You play as a protagonist, to which you choose the name of, who is deeply in love with her butler, which you also choose the name of. However, in times like these, that kind of love would get you disowned or abandoned, it just wouldn't work. Especially since the butler has rejected her romantic advances in the past, it's almost impossible for something to work between them, unless...? The game has a few key choices that impact the outcome, having five different endings you can achieve. Each ending being a chess reference which is really cool to see. The name of this game is so powerful, being how the butler addresses the protagonist. I love the name! The music is also rather fitting for the times this game would take place in. There's also voice acting, adding more to the atmosphere. It's well done too. Everyone appears to sound very Bri'ish... The art style is one of the most unique I've seen, every character is faceless with dark grey skin, almost symbolic of chess pieces. It makes the game's themes even more impac…
