This review is positive. I love mechs, I love gurren lagann, i am the ideal audience. And this scratches the itch. That being said this game makes me so mad. I just got done spending hours on one enemy to unlock the ocelot. And immediately uninstalled. I have played the game for 25 ish hours total and spent three - five of those hours grinding against 200 marble contracts because my monki mech is too week for 4-5 skull contracts. The game stopped offering me 3 skull contracts when i bought one legendary part and 2 skull contracts pay a fraction of what I need. I bought a legendary part I thought would get me over the hump to unlock the ocelot mech. (Keep in mind the variety for how mech parts effect your playstyle is very limited on the monki so i've been fighting enemies for 10+hours using missile, double shot, and deploying smoke or proximity mine where able. Very repetitive). The legendary part (ability reposte) does not work against the boss for the ocelot despite how it reads. I felt done with grinding and said either I beat this boss or I quit. I abandoned my ironman ruleset and redid the fight over and over and when I finally beat this fight it wasn't due to any strate…5 found this helpful
I tried my best but the game don't run correctly. When there is an animation (like the cinematic when you enter a mecha for exemple before every battle) the FPS goes crazy. Like, it's not that it was the core of the game to feel in a anime... P.S : To anwser the dev, I know how to recognize a difference between a cinematic that mimic the effect of an anime with few frames and a cinematic that doesn't run smoothly. Like, mine is going slow and fast with unegual fps ; or maybe it is an effect that I don't know...5 found this helpful
im afraid this game is mid. it feels like there missing content and it can get frustrating at times. although im giving this a negative review I did enjoy what was there hopefully the developers will release more content in the future like the promised pvp mode4 found this helpful
WHYYYY THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CAN I NOT CHANGE THE ACTION IN COMBAT BEFORE CONFIRMING????????? The number of fights i've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up because I hit 'A' one too many times and either skipped a turn or shot with no ammo is too damn high. There's no reason for this. Seriously. Just put a confirmation prompt or something. Otherwise its not a bad game. Feels like it'll take forever to get money though. Not sure the grind will be worth it.2 found this helpful

Good looking, fun, some RPG and sandbox lite mixed with story. All 3 mechs are very different in play styles. And Each mech can have a few different builds. 27/31 , will come back if dlc/new mechs are released. Had a blast.
