Players praise the game's humor, character development, and satisfying ending that ties together previous episodes with meaningful foreshadowing, along with its stylish retro graphics and willingness to experiment with new mechanics like the Pokemon-inspired monster system. However, many criticize the repetitive battle-heavy gameplay that drags on despite the relatively short playtime, lacking sufficient towns, mini-games, or variety to break up the constant combat, which some find makes the experience feel tedious and overly long despite its actual duration.
Well, here we are, the final episode of otrspod... The gameplay switches yet again from ep3's typical rpg game to something more akin to pokémon with an unique spin. This is the most serious episode in the quadrilogy but there are still plenty of funny moments, it's just that the serious moments are taken more seriously. The ending ties everything together so nicely and makes all the small moments of foreshadowing in previous episode hit you like a brick to the face when you go back to play the previous episodes... 10/10, I love doomed yaoi and whoever said that this series is just like Sam & Max 305 you're so right and I am in so much emotional pain over these two idiots... Penny Arcade finally finished their trainwreck and managed to make one final joke out of it.
Why you here if you're not already sold, it's part 4!
Meh, the game is ok, especially considering it's free but the developers have better games, so a very light recommend (more like in the middle). This one gets too repetitive and there isn't much too break up the constant battles, not many towns or mini games or anything like that so it just drags. I felt like this took forever, like over 50 hours but in fact, it was just 11. Humor is decent, cute retro style graphics, they tried something new by having tons of monsters (but the two teams take forever to join, not until the last few hours). Game isn't too hard. I wanted to like this, but again, is mostly just battle after battle with dungeons that aren't interesting.
i hate/love tycho so much he's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up
