Horrible joke of a game that has next to 0 content. Nothing works and I got some weird disk write errors and warning messages from Windows before removing this abomination. Players beware. I think this game is just a troll of some sort. If you want to see what I mean feel free to install it. Videos and screenshots on the store page are also nothing like the actual game.

Yo, this game is really bad. Sorry. Graphics-wise, it seems like the textures are all different sizes, so you end up with a lot of blurry stuff, such as the clock in the corner, which is abysmal. Gameplay-wise, the controls are terrible, and I haven't the foggiest idea of what I'm supposed to be doing. Made it to a city full of people and could apparently not interact with any of them. Can't complain too much though, since the game is free. lol

"Pixeplorer" is a weird and sad attempt to make a kind of "sandbox" open world survival exploration game, but the quality is straight through the floor. And not just because it's made with Godot2D (Godot 3D is pretty good, but the 2D engine is just garbage and has never been used to create a successful game). What do you do in the game? Wander around a huge yet empty, soulless feeling map while your eyes are assaulted by some of the worst pixelcrap I've seen... the developer couldn't even scale the pixel "art" properly so pixels are of different sizes... man, I thought pixelcrap could never get any worse than just being pixelcrap, but boy, I was wrong. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't…

Honestly, this game made me laugh with how terrible it is. - Theres no way to save settings. I went in to make it full screen and theres no "Apply" or "Save" option, just "Reset Settings" and "Back" so it just reverted back to windowed. - I had to press a bunch of keys to figure out how to interact with things. I found a portal(?), went through it and then back out of the same portal immediately and was placed in the middle of a grouping of trees, disallowing me to move anymore lol - You cant move in diagonals unless you press w or s FIRST. If you hit a or d first, the game doesnt allow it. Its actually a hilarious joke of a game and I think it's perfect the way it is if that is indeed what it is meant to be seen as. Devs, please don't update this anymore, its a gem. Im uninstalling, my computer is not worthy of having this on it.
