This is great. The developer is responsive the Poker conceit is novel. I recommend it, this is a great time to support an innovative developer. I picked this up looking for an interesting early access game, and I hit the jackpot! FYI, the base game is a bit samey. Treat it like the tutorial. The good stuff is in the beta.

Awesome game with a solid foundation. Just 3 games in and I feel this has Slay the Spire tier replay value. Really would just love to see more content added

This is a decent, well-made card roguelike. You can play through several games with great interest. It also has a pleasant, harmonious design. Although it plays more like those backpack-type roguelikes than poker. Only here, instead of a backpack, you assemble a deck and chips before the battle. Poker here works only in that synergy bonuses are applied according to poker rules: the higher the poker hand, the higher the bonuses (multiplier for HP and Attack). Cards, depending on the suits, have classes, such as defender (high HP, low DPS), rogue (high DPS, low HP), archer (high DPS, average HP), mage (average DPS and HP, but there are AoE and effects like "stun" i.e. skipping a turn after hit) Chips provide bonuses to various things, such as additional stats for a certain combination of cards, additional attack, healing, shields, or buffs combined with debuffs. There are also some OP chips and some not so useful chips, there are synergy chips, but the synergy is not very strong for chips in general (unlike poker hand).
