first half of the game is fun but it feels like they didnt finish the last 25%
A bit buggy, and the lack of an in-game encyclopedia does hurt this game. However, it is very pretty and a lot more approachable than other resource management automation simulation games. Good vibe, a fun little story, enjoyable experience overall.
Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series. My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out a hidden gem, a space survival game called Prospector. This game is the breakout title by small developer Loonworks Games and was Published by HypeTrain Digital, the powerhouse publisher behind one of the greatest indie stealth strategy games, Intravenous. Prospector takes place far into the future, where mankind has travelled to the stars. Survival is an unforgiving endeavour, and it falls to the Prospectors, brave explorers who explore each planet for valuable materials and hidden knowledge. The player starts on a remote alien planet, where they must tame the unfamiliar and hazardous world. Youll gather alien plants and minerals, construct buildings to process these into useful tools and use these to chart out the planets secrets. In addition to managing your precious food and oxygen supply, youll also need to deal with hostile alien life using nothing but your crafted weapons and tools and your trusty robot companion O.P.H.E.L.I.A. Industrious players can contruct the base …
My eyesight isn’t great, so I was wondering if there’s an option to make the icons and text bigger. It might already be there, but I couldn’t find it. Aside from that, the game is awesome — thanks!
I bought this because it looked like a cross between Astroneer and Nova Lands. This was nothing like either and got boring really fast. I got 5 hours into it and that was enough for me. I would not recommend this game if you can't get it on a good sale.
This is a really bad example of not learning from what inspired you. The heavy limitation on automation and production are horrendous, the finite ore mining and monotonous building of belts only fuel frustration.
