About Rainswept
Detective Michael Stone arrives in the small town of Pineview to assist the local police force with a seemingly simple case - A couple is found dead in their kitchen. The locals believe it to be a case of murder-suicide, their speculation fueled by rumors of the turbulent nature of the couple's relationship.
Is it just small-town gossip, or is there some truth to the rumors?
Help Detective Stone, assisted by the driven and empathetic Amy Blunt, discover the truth behind Chris and Diane's story. But be warned: the further he pursues the case, the more his own past shall come back to haunt him. And the closer his sanity will be pushed to the edge.

Rainswept tells a great story, both through a current and a past perspective. At first when you approach the game you might think "Oh haha, it's another Twin Peaks game! Even the police station looks the same!" but no, it's not. It is so much more and different. The characters in this game really feel like they all have depth. They have their individual background stories, all their lives are going on. You play as the hard-boiled detective from the city assisting the local police in figuring out what happened in a shooting. But you also get to follow the lives of the two victims, which is something that's quite unusual - especially in a video game. I recommend this game and I will definitely check out other titles from this developer!3 found this helpful
Short mystery game that is mostly story rich. A bit buggy in spots but for the most part a very easy puzzle relaxed game.1 found this helpful
I liked this a lot more than I expected to, Chris and Diane's story really captured me.
The story was moderately interesting and this is what kept me interest going to the end. But it was technically inept with poor production quality and several bugs. For instance, tasks menu could not be closed again unless you went to map first and once I got stuck and had to reload last save. To improve the experience, I think voice overs would have helped a lot.
Ok so... really hard to know when you're entering a cinematic or just interacting with the world + having a really hard time navigating the scene when you're in it (i'm talking key's interaction//mouse pointing) and it's not my mouse sensibility thanks you ;) so as far as i'm concerned the game its unplayble. Nicemusic tho.
Well written characters. Makes you feel like you really know them despite no voice acting. The art is fantastic and so is the music.
