This is a GBA remake that was previously unreleased. It works for nostalgia sake, but it is rather repetitive. It doesnt hold up to RCG 1 or 2

If you somehow really want to play Kunio-tachi no Banka, one of the worst beat-em-ups on the Super Famicom/SNES, you'd be better off simply using a free emulator. River City Girls Zero is nothing more than a horrible emulator+rom+wrapper package that suffers from audio crackling, stutter, input lag, and bugs like no audio at all if you load a save state too quickly after making it. If you're a fan of the River City Girls games and want to see the new opening and ending cutscenes, do yourself a favor and watch them on YouTube. And I would like to reiterate that even on a good free emulator without any of these newly-introduced issues, Kunio-tachi no Banka is hot trash. Stiff controls, incredibly simplistic enemies and bosses, a max of two enemies on screen at once, and a combat loop that focuses on spamming special knockdown moves to avoid a lot of enemies breaking out of the most basic combo stings and dealing big damage. To rank this among beat-em-up classics like entries in the Streets of Rage or Final Fight franchises would be insane, but this game doesn't even compare well to entries in its own series. River City Ransom on the NES is way better, and even that game is just OK a…

Too hard to beat. Retro games should be a fun way to experience to remember a game you never got to finish. This is not a good retro game. No way l would recommend this game. It is way to hard to beat a boss and not fun. Buy a retro game that has modern options to beat the game.

An old-school beat 'em up from back in the day. It's great to play co-op with friends as you fight your way through the stages. And yes, it's a tough game!
