Just a lonely ship cruising through the empty space... well not exactly empty since there is asteroids... and not exactly lonely since there is... well we will get to that. [h1]The Key-Mechanics:[/h1] [list] [*][b]Fly & Shoot[/b] - The main thing(s) you will have to do. Always avoid obstacles of course! [*][b]Aliens[/b] - As I said in the short introduction you are not alone actually. There is a total of four different enemy types to attack you. Some try to shoot you down, some do a suicide crash right into your face. But all of them only exist to tear your ship apart. [*][b]PickUps[/b] - Those previously named enemies may drop special pickups to upgrade your ship, refill your armor, advance your armor, davance your weapons... lots of stuff to pick up in order to survive even longer. Yes! Any fan of asteroids will like this one. You can collect pill pick ups that increase your fire, sheilds, tone down rock behavior, and more I haven't discovered yet. Nice flashy explosions and there is more to this game than meets the eye. Game is actually FUN to play and look forward to entering the rock swarm and getting to know jack, because I don't know jack yet. cheers!

There is a joy to correctly predicting your shots as always, but there is also a searching and collecting aspect with the different asteroid types that is very addictive. Disclosure: The developer of Rockjack played my game for 12 hours and then reviewed it, then gave me feedback, so I decided to check out his game.

Really fun game!! The game mechanics are super smooth, and it gets surprisingly challenging. I still haven't passed level 3! The game feels very well polished, for example, the retrograde thruster has less thrust available than the main thruster, and the damage to your ship / your health is reflected in a circle (and the ship has directional damage)! It would be cool if you could land on an asteroid, although that wouldn't follow the original Asteroids arcade game :) I'm just a big fan of Lunar Lander.. Can't wait for future updates!!
