Ruination is thoroughly ruined by its awful controls. My playtime is low because I simply could not stand to proceed further. Fortunately, Zachary Lee's subsequent title, Shrine of the God-Ape, is well worth the $1. If you bought that and want more, don't buy this. If you made the mistake of buying this, don't be deterred from buying that.

Visually decent The camera, camera shake, and aiming is insanely bad.

Pros 1. First of all, the guns are actually pretty cool. The rocket launchers shots are so powerful they rip through the floor to kill enemies youre not even aiming at. 2. Style. Okay, not exactly the prettiest game but i'll be DAMNED if it isn't cute. Aside from that though, i cant find anything positive. Cons: Ohohohoh, lads. There are plenty. 1. There is no tutorial, you're left to fend for yourself with not a single glimmer of instruction, NOT A SINGLE IMAGE to prompt you in the right direction. 2. The minigun. But wait, why am i leaving one gun as a con for the ENTIRE game? Well, have you ever taken LSD, and then gotten so drunk you started seeing 6 girlfriends instead of the 0 we all know you have? Have you then, after doing so, went on a drive through the middle of Toyko at midnight while there was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EARTHQUAKE happening? . . . Yeah that just about sums up the minigun in this game. 3. The enemies don't even have health bars so you're left guessing or just randomly one shotting them. 4. Speaking of health bars, YOU DON'T HAVE ONE EITHER! 5. Oh, you thought 4 was the only thing missing? YOU DON'T HAVE A POINT COUNTER. 6. Ha! You thought 4 and 5 were the only …

DEPTH BOSS CHALLENGE Demolish the monster in the depths in 192x144 resolution. Full screen must be disabled. Most unique achievement I've ever seen. The difficulty of this game is spot on. It's a Yes from me BOSS.

neat little game, pretty good for its length and content.

Here's the things I'm missing in this game; - There is no music, which makes the experience bland - When you die you go back on main menu instead of restarting, which takes around 10-15 seconds to proceed to gameplay - Game itself is done in about 1 hour but for the price I expected 3 hours of gameplay, even though it had 4 bosses and 12 levels it was too quick paced to be considered long enough - No actual defence mechanisms, you can only attack or kind of evade enemies Conclusion; I refunded it because I thought it was short as a game to cost 79 cents and besides enjoying the challenges it wasn't actually fun because of the complete lack of music and quick game progression. Would rather buy a different game looking what the price had to offer.
