Poor man's version of 7 Billion Humans. That in itself isn't a bad thing, since 7BH is a very good game, so even a poor imitation can be decent, and I actually had fun for the most part playing this game. However, I am giving it a thumbs down because there is far too little explanation for the mechanics in the game. In fact, I first tried playing this game before 7BH, but got stuck after 30 minutes. After revisiting this game after putting 20 hours into 7BH, I realize it wasn't so much that the puzzles were too challenging, but rather they didn't explain the mechanics well enough. This makes the game seem even more like a ripoff of 7BH, as if the developer didn't explain the mechanics properly because they didn't come up with them themselves, but rather copied them from another game. With the knowledge I acquired from 7BH, I was able to solve many more puzzles than I did when I first played the game, though in the end I quit playing as the puzzles in this game just don't seem as elegant or sophisticated as the ones in 7BH. Like I said, it's a poor man's 7BH. There's also the issue of puzzles not fitting onto one screen which others have mentioned, which is a huge no-no for this ty…

This is coding puzzle game, that leans more into to the gamey side. The genius thing about Selfless Heroes is that it's beginner friendly, real coding game. Real coding because you can choose to type or use icons and you solve open ended problems rather than trying to guess what the dev is thinking. However on the coding side, the learning plateaus and the challenge comes more from the gamey puzzles. If you like coding problems (open ended puzzles) but find zacklikes impossible, you will love this game. However if you want to learn to code, there are better games.

I love this game so much, I'm a mechanical engineer and this game has me writing algorithms that impress my computer science friends! The music and vibe are so cute and welcoming. This game is in my opinion perfectly entertaining and perfectly educational.

Very simple and funny.

Well-executed, and it looks like it gets more interesting, but after the first 10 minutes I didn’t feel much of a hook to continue.

Fun puzzle game that serves as an intro to programming. It uses a visual-programming model where you can simply drag-and-drop commands into the script (there is also an option to type the code if you wish). The puzzles start off pretty easy to where you can get used to the concept but the difficulty ramps up quickly. Overall great game and good intro to programming.
