This game wears its resident evil inspiration on its sleeves but FAILS in almost every measure. It's takes all the elements of a survival horror and does remotely nothing interesting with it. Bare bones generic storyline marred by obnoxiously long back tracking exploration sequences with little to no tension whatsoever. You will spend ALOT of time finding puzzle key items with barely any enemy encounters - and by the time you encounter one, its really underwhelming. I CANNOT recommend this game. Although it works with borrowed elements and offers almost nothing new, it possesses an incredibly claustrophobic atmosphere - the likes of which I haven't felt anywhere since Cold Fear.5 found this helpful

It is an enjoyable experience and managed to provide a lot of tension coming from somebody who is not often scared by horror games. The story is serviceable, very Lovecraft inspired, and if you're familiar with that at all, you will know where it's going (though I only got one ending so it's possible that others subvert expectations). Exploration is great, very Resident Evil/Silent Hill with a lot of quality of life. Areas on the map will be checked off when cleared and highlight many missed objects, so you will not miss something because you overlooked it. But, exploration is still rewarding and there are still secrets and things you will feel good about finding. Level design is done well where you will be constantly accessing new areas, but can eventually unlock doors and passages to combine most of the ship to travel between areas much faster.
