✦ AI summary
Players love this game for its impressive graphics and engaging presentation of naval history, making it essential for ship enthusiasts and those seeking relaxing exploration experiences. The main criticisms center on limited content, with players wanting more ships (particularly specific historical vessels), NPCs to interact with, and additional areas to explore to extend gameplay depth.
As a fan of Oceanliner Designs' content and Ocean Liners in general, this experience is a dream come true. Getting to walk around the SS United States and SS Morro Castle was amazing. Morro Castle has to be my personal favorite of the fleet because she coincidentally is about the same size as a fictional liner of my own design, so it was like exploring two ships at once! And not to mention the two DLC ships HMS Captain and Battleship Bismark being completely free absolutely blew my mind, especially Bismark considering how much there was to explore in just one of her two levels. I could not believe it when I saw the Lusitania is going to be added, getting the chance to walk her decks is going to be a highlight of an experience. In the end, absolutely phenomenal work to all who made this a reality, thank you immensely for preserving the legacies of these great ships.
The kind of fun you'd get in a museum. This is not a game; more of an interactive experience, with beautifully modelled ships and cool historical facts and pictures! Sadly, it is a bit laggy at times, you can't enter every room or crevice, there are no floor plans or cross-section views also, the character model has a weird stance in third-person view.
Beautiful game with cool ships.
Very high FPS and a nice chill game
Ship explorer is an amazing game. I really like exploring the Bismarck on it and it's really educational but fun at the same time.
Really enjoyable experience! My only criticism would be that the game does feel a bit poorly optimised at times, but settings workarounds can be achieved easily. Other than that, beautiful models, beautiful scenery, overall does its job pretty well.
