Ship Handling Simulator, developed and published by Aleksandr Turkin, is a highly specialized simulation that focuses on one of the most demanding and underrepresented aspects of maritime operations: the precise handling of large ships in confined and hazardous environments. Rather than offering a broad, exploratory sailing experience, the game narrows its scope to the technical discipline of maneuvering massive vessels where every adjustment matters. From the outset, it makes clear that this is not a casual or arcade-style experience, but a deliberate simulation built around patience, planning, and respect for inertia and scale. The core appeal of the game lies in its handling model, which emphasizes momentum and delayed response over instant control. Ships feel heavy and unwieldy in a way that reflects their real-world counterparts, forcing players to think several steps ahead before committing to a turn or speed change. Throttle management, rudder angles, bow and stern thrusters, and tugboat assistance all play essential roles in successful navigation. Simple mistakes, such as approaching a dock too quickly or misjudging a turn radius, can quickly escalate into failure, reinfor…1 found this helpful

Awesome game, I highly recommend it. The game has excellent physics and graphics. I think the developer should add the SS Great Eastern, maybe some better interiors on the ships, and a way to walk around the ships. I can't wait to see how this project progresses in the future.
