At first I wanted to recommend this game; I actually enjoyed it a lot. However, the fact that it still has no sequel or announcement of one, combined with its far too abrupt ending, made me reconsider. As of now: 4.5/10.

This game starts well but does not continue well. It starts with an intriguing story, and it proceeds promisingly. However, it is fun just for the first hour, I didn't enjoy much the rest (of the story and the dialogs and the further missions..). The game seems unfinished or to have been finished less than planned, considering the good beginning story and upgrade features that you don't need to use much. The good side is you do not need to invest much time learning the controls for maneuvering the ship. There is no six-axis control; there is pitch, yaw, roll along with controlling the forward and backward speed. Frankly, I found this control scheme simple and fun compared to other spaceship games. The holographic panels around the seat are cool, too. However, you don't use your real hands to use them, instead, by pointing your gaze and pressing an appropriate button on your gamepad. It would be cool if touch controllers were supported, but as such it is nice as well. Combat is a bit problem. The enemy ships are turning around you, and like, trying to stay behind you during attacks. So, to chase them, you need to do lots of continuous turning as well as targeting with your gaze. T…

6/10 Scrapes a recommendation because: 1) THis is really buggy; I'm not kidding. Expect continual crashes and restarts. 2) The graphics are really basic. I enjoyed this game because of the refreshing narrative experience of playing a space game. Space games these days are either open world or detached missions without a story. THis game reminds me of freespace, and I have often thought "why can't someone make a good narrative driven space ship game." THis isn't all that good, but it fits into a genre that is lacking competitors, so I recommend it.

This is still worth playing in 2022 IMO. Yeah, it is only 3 hours and ends on a cliffhanger that will not be resolved. But it is pretty good . It reminds me of the old wing commander games.

One of the best use of VR I have seen up to date. Simple and effective controls where being able to look around is actually useful and very impressive sceneries, varied enough missions and on top of that a storyline that puts everything together. It's short indie game, but the few things it does, it does them extremely well. Kudos to the developers for not trying to do too much and ending up with a mediocre hollow game. Looking forward for episode 2!
