Star Trek™: Judgment Rites

I played this in the 90's and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Thirty years later it feels like a time capsule especially with all the original cast voicing their characters, especially since so few of them are left. If you are a fan like me, who still wished for more episodes even after watching "Spock's Brain". They made two of these games and they are both great.

The quintessential pixelart 90's adventure game, and the last time the entire original cast of Star Trek contributed to Star Trek media. Gameplay is very 90s and doesn't hold your hand, but if you have nostalgia for this type of game, you'll find no better example of it than this.

Star Trek: Judgment Rites is a classic narrative adventure that captures the exploratory and philosophical character of Star Trek: The Original Series far better than its aging technology might initially suggest. The campaign is divided into eight missions that function almost like individual episodes. Each begins with a strange situation that gradually develops into a larger mystery. The Enterprise may discover impossible objects, unusual life readings, technologically advanced civilizations, or circumstances that appear to violate ordinary logic. Great old school Star Trek game. Probably slightly easier that 25th Anniversary (I didn't need to learn base 7 maths doe this one).
