Static Condition

This is more a mid-rating. First the Positives: - The dev game me a Steam Key which I was grateful for; - It looks like it's his first game; - You can collect the anomalies in a cabinet like a trophy (unique to anomaly games); - There is a hint system; - A nice environment... Buuuuut: - The balance of the game is all wrong - In a run 33% of all run throughs will be... Nothing, no change, in a "spot the difference game"; - The anomalies are mostly bland, "removed door handle".... replaced assets kind of thing; - No memorable anomalies to make you think "yes I remember that in Static Condition!"; - Too many anomalies - don't make 100 bland anomalies, make 50 unique ones instead! I hope he will take this constructive criticism on board, for his next game. I wish him well with this one. First of all props to the Developer Chris (Static Game Labs) for reaching out and sending me an early copy and access to this wonderful game. On my first playthrough i was able to beat the game in 30min but that was based on my experience and luck. I must say that Im currently waiting on subscribers like count goal in order to replay this game in search of all 100 anomalies. I believe the game is more difficult then other anomaly searching/loop games as the parking structure is pretty big compare to other games having just a small attic or room. I believe a lot of effort and passion was put into this game and i also believe it has plenty of replay value. One of my favorite things about this game is the trophy system, as you find anomalies you get to keep them in your trophy room, it feels like a well deserved reward i have not seen before in this type of games, but also as a helpful mechanic because you can refresh your memory by looking at the anomaly trophies you have accumulated during your playing career. Static Condition is a psychological "spot-the-difference" anomaly game that traps you in an endless, eerie parking garage. It successfully blends the tension of I'm on Observation Duty with the "loop" mechanics of The Exit 8. Core Mechanic: If something changes, turn back; if everything is normal, move forward.

If you enjoy a serious anomaly hunt, this game is for you! I streamed this game to my community after we got hooked on games like Exit 8 and Observation Duty. This game is not for the weak. The anomalies are subtle, but the developer has integrated a great (optional) hint system if you get stuck. There is also a really fun setting of being able to make your own anomaly. It took us about 3 hours to beat and we only found 31/100 possible anomalies in the end. There is a lot of replayability and I will definitely be going back for a second play!
