Forge a legendary legacy—or become just another forgotten name in the history books.🚂 Steam & Steel Railway Tycoon needs you.
Climb aboard and conquer the rails!
A living map of Europe
- Travel through seven historic metropolises —Barcelona, Lyon, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Prague, and Rotterdam— each recreated with its own challenges and demands.
- The routes exist, but mastering them is up to you: from cheap wooden tracks to high-speed magnetic rails.
- Dynamic weather covers entire regions with storms, fog, or frost, forcing you to reroute trains and adjust fares on the fly.
Deep management and locomotives with personality
- Every locomotive is unique: upgrade chassis, boilers, and electric systems to define its role within your network.
- Assign specialized staff to boost performance — engineers reduce coal consumption, mechanics prevent breakdowns, and concierges improve passenger comfort.
- Keep your fleet in shape in dedicated workshops, or risk critical failures that can block entire routes.
- Time never stops: the game runs in real time (with strategic pause) as buildings produce, employees get paid, and resources run out.
Build the infrastructure that sustains your empire
- Stations: expand platforms, add boutique hotels and premium services to multiply passenger flow.
- Workshops: organize maintenance shifts, calibrate spare parts, and avoid unexpected downtime.
- Heavy industry: coal mines, sawmills, steelworks, and refineries keep your expansion going without relying on external markets.
- Signaling network: towers and relays reduce idle time and enable denser routes without bottlenecks.
- Innovation labs: unlock groundbreaking projects, from quantum engines to dynamic ticket systems.
A ruthless economy
- Stock market: invest in six corporations with systemic behaviors. Anticipate crises, ride the boom, or ignore the market and double down on infrastructure.
- Legendary auctions: bid for historic locomotives with unique bonuses against aggressive rivals. Will you risk your liquidity for a behemoth that burns 25% less coal?
- International trade: sign contracts with shipyards, mining consortiums, or luxury airlines. Import resources while paying tariffs — or build your own production chain.
Events that reshape the game
- Global modifiers change each session: government bailouts, stock crashes, subsidies, or unpredictable strikes.
- Narrative decisions with permanent consequences: accept bribes, donate artifacts, negotiate with unions, or face mass layoffs.
- Extreme weather events —winter storms, tourist festivals, persistent rain— reshape demand and maintenance priorities across your network.
Reputation, prestige, and progress
- Earn reputation through punctuality, safety, and infrastructure milestones to unlock trains like the Zenith Storm, elite staff, and unique buildings such as the Celestial Observatory, Temporal Forge, and Aurora Refinery.
- Invest in permanent innovation projects that affect your entire company and redefine your playstyle.
Daily Run, roguelike progression, and meta-game
- Face self-contained community challenges in the Daily Run mode.
- Discover a roguelike system of project cards, talents, and railway relics that reshapes every playthrough from the start.
- Use prestige currency to unlock permanent upgrade trees, map variants, and mutators that alter the beginning of each new company.
- Earn exclusive rewards and build prestige to modify the meta-game: optional rules, passive bonuses, and new scenario variants.
Extreme challenges and dynamic objectives
- Choose between Story (tutorial mode) and Infernal, for a truly unforgiving experience.
- Complete global goals (50 reputation, eight locomotives, 100 trips on the Zenith line) and tactical missions with unique rewards.
- Capture temporary resource nodes before they vanish, balancing the risk of diverting trains from main routes.
Tangible rivalry
- Competing companies share your tracks, influence demand, and force you to adjust prices and schedules.
- Spy on their locomotives, study their configurations, and outmatch them in efficiency and comfort.

The Game isn´t ready jet. It`s only partially translatet and there isn`t any introduction, which make it really starter unfriendly. Maybe wait for some updates, so that the early problems are fixed.2 found this helpful
This game has a lot of potential. Still very early in development but I like where it is headed. Reminds me of rail/stock board games. Only a little play with it so far and it needs a little polish but I like where it is headed.1 found this helpful
Nice game
