Bought and refunded. I really really hated this game. The review score for this game is suspiciously bloated. It's not like Mega Man X whatsoever. I'm extremely disappointed to see Gravity Circuit teamed up to do a bundle with this game. Gravity Circuit so much better than this game. I felt even more cheated because of my decision being swayed by this bundle. Literally 95% of the gameplay is destroying stagnant boxes and vehicles and then collecting the sparkly trinkets left behind. That isn't fun. Completely brain dead gameplay. Enemy AI is extremely basic. Boss fights are boring. Platforming is horrendous. Level design is flat out appallingly dumb. I know this might all seem too insulting, but you compare yourself to MegaMan X you're gonna get shot down if you're not up to snuff. Despite being EA there's no way the developer can make any meaningful changes to make this game better. Take away destroying boxes, then you have sparsely populated rooms full of enemies that present no challenge. The game art is OK but the gameplay feels so empty and hitboxes are huge it doesn't really matter. Very fun and affordable co-op game with a Megaman X/Gravity Circuit vibe. Very nice QoL options for difficulty adjustment and exploration guidance if you want to know which areas to explore before moving ahead to the next section of the level. Combat feels nice and fluid as you pull off flashy combos while jumping and dashing around enemies and incoming attacks, and the execution of your attacks feels heavily inspired by Smash Bros using tilts for your normal and special attacks. Also has cute waifus and great pixel art! My only real issue is with the local co-op camera focusing on one player which can make slow down the game's pace and cause damage from enemies that are hard to see near the edge of the screen, but it hasn't impacted our playthrough too much as i try to stick with the second player. If there ever is a sequel to this game (which i hope there will be), i feel like having online and local splitscreen options might be the way to go instead. With all that said, I easily recommend Super Alloy Crush if you want a fun co-op game to enjoy with a friend or family member on the couch or over Steam Remote Play.

Nice hidden gems game, 2D Side Scroller pixel action with nice story & character design ( BGM is banger too ) + Cool character design ( cute waifu of course, I love that pixel booba jiggling ) + Nice story to follow + Banger BGM + Coop ! + Have adventure ( rougelike mode but still lack of preview each next room what's the rewards ), ultimate mode ( boss rush ) for replayability + Playable on steamdeck ( Controller support ) If you like 2D side scroller pixel with nice character design and good story to follow, give it a try ! Thank you for a nice game, looking forward to the future updates story, new moveset, playable & waifu , and also hope for improving on rougelike mode to be more interesting too ;)
10/10 Amazing game. Can't wait for Megaman X mods
