About Super Star Blast
Super Star Blast is a space based game with challenging levels of increasing difficulty. All enemies must be shot down to finish a level and go to the next one. A scanner around the player tells roughly where the enemies are located. The player ship can fly forwards to attack and backwards to fight during the retreat against the opponents. After clearing a level you can purchase equipment to boost the ship, as well as extra shields and firepower or more ships.
In local multiplayer mode, up to 4 players can fight together trough the levels (campaign mode) or can get each other in a battle (competition mode).

What a wonderful shmup game we have here with relaxing yet invigorating shooting all in 360 degrees backed by a stellar soundtrack, the graphics are exquisite and the gameplay mechanics simple: shoot, survive and upgrade at the end of the level. The game gets progressively more difficult during the later levels but I was quite taken aback by just how playable, fun and enthralling this hidden gem really is! You also have a four player split screen multiplayer mode in here too for some fun with your mates. Gonna keep this review short and sweet, so I will give this game a rating of 8/10. In all this game is well worth the "mere" asking price because Super Star Blast has that tremendous "one more go" factor meaning if you wanna come back again and again, you can and you will love every minute you spend with this darling little shooter.
