It is the second game in the [i]Tales From the Under-Realm[/i] series, with a third and final game in the planning stages. Although it's not necessary to have played the first game, [i]Tales From The Under-Realm: Hazel[/i] (which I have reviewed although it's currently only viewable to friends), since this game can be played as a standalone, it certainly doesn't hurt. XD You take on the role of Nessa (whose name and appearance can be customized), a guard living in the city of Lothark. Life is peaceful and quiet for Nessa, working with Tara, her childhood best friend, under Guard Captain Samael until one day, two women from Dingirra, Nadja and her daughter, Cynthia, move to Lothark and take up residence in the House of Hands, a pub with a questionable reputation. Woa! This game is way too good! When I play Loren the amazon princess, the POV of the MC is of a side character, of course, Loren is the chosen one, the heroine, leader of the crusade and the MC is there supporting her. But still, Saren and Elenor still feel like the sweetheart of the hero group and there are happy endings for our MC, they gain their status, their freedom, their love, all the glory they deserved... But here, the MC is truly the side character whom through their eyes, their POV, their actions, the story, the truth behind all of this mysterious murders and the secret of other people revealed. So, if you choose wrong moves, you get the endings which you still don't understand anything. Some routes and endings only show some of the truth, which is why it is so compelling to me to play all the routes. Not all endings are just and satisfying, since if you choose stupid choices, of course you get the stupid endings. About the MC, depend on the choices, we shape her character as well, she could be loyal or naively fool or hypocrite, sometimes, uncharacteristic evil, for example, in the last standing endings, she and her lover side with Mother Morte and her vampire army …

Another excellent yuri VN in the equally excellent Aravorn mythos. The story is enjoyable on its own, but gains even more from a familiarity with the world, and the treat of seeing cameos and lore beats.

Cool visual novel with multiple endings. I wish there were more love interest though.

This game has a good story and has a good playtime for the price. Like always watch your choices and time you have. I really like all the branching paths I discovered already. I will be waiting for more of the Under-Realm series.
