Tales of Graces f Remastered

Tales of Graces f ended up being quite an enjoyable treat for me. Although not without any flaws, this may be one of the better games in the Tales series that I have played, and the remaster quality is quite good. Tales of Graces f is a bit more unique compared to some other Tales games, because it starts in early childhood. You follow Asbel and his journey mostly, which starts from a kid and progresses as he grows older. This honestly provided a bit of a fresh look at things, and it added more depth to some of the characters vs showing flashbacks. As is common with Tales games, I really loved the characters. Every character was so unique with their own quirks, and it felt like I was there in the journey. The little skits, post battle back and forths, quips, etc. all really added to the character building. My favorites were probably Cheri and Pascal, but every main character was good. Every character had room to grow, challenges to overcome, and dilemmas to get through that really added to their depth. I'm having a hard time enjoying this game. Characters and story are incredibly dull and generic. I'm finding the combat to be really repetitive and the CC system is pretty annoying as it's too restrictive. The titles system also feels quite underwhelming, as a lot of what you unlock is just small stat boosts. The same goes for the crafting, which doesn't feel rewarding at all.

I love the sarcasm, adult jokes, and story.

A must play for Tales of fans.

I kept reading reviews saying "this game is so good" "it only gets better and better", and do you know what? They're all correct! This game is absolutely fantastic, I'm around 3 hours in so far and it's absolutely fantastic so far, it keeps getting more dramatic and hard-hitting (dramatic in a good way), it's great, the combat is fun. It's been a long time since I've played a "Tales of" game (I am a long-time fan) I adore it! I hope they keep making games with this kind of quality and writing!

I love stories like this this is an excellent game. Sometimes its a little childish but it's a story of friendship and love. I really enjoy this game! It scratched my final fantasy x and xIII itch!
