The definitive edition of my favorite game of all time. Played it back when it was on the xbox 360 and it didn't include Flynn nor Patty. This is the complete version of the game that was only available in the Japanese PS3 version of the game. I'm so terribly excited and happy to play it again, truly one of the most memorable and interesting Tales of games that I have played. Definitely worth a try simply because the amount of gameplay and fun you get from it is almost limitless. I must have passed the story at least 5 or 6 times before. So my review is biased. But if you are looking for an interesting and actually immersive game with a bit of cringe but a whole lot of soul and heart, look no further. I hope anyone who tries it gets to experience the fun and excitement this game offers.1 found this helpful
Game good
It's a great game, and I'm really enjoying the story and gameplay. However, it crashed several times right as I was getting close to the end, which made me lose over an hour of progress each time.
fighting mechanics are really good and the story is really well written. Ive completed the game multiple times and still come back to this game.
Fun game. Combat is brutal, so not really for the game journalist levels of players... even if that sounds like gatekeeping LOL. Anyways, the protagonist of this game is quite likeable. The story is good, some even tugs at the heartstrings when you solve the issue of each cities. It doesn't feel dragged-out at all, and the post-main quest stuff challenges are fun to find plus unlocking the collectibles/costumes was a treat. I bought the other more modern "Tales" game, but it didn't grip me as much as this one did. The characters, especially the protagonist carried it for me.
