About Gods Will Be Watching
Sgt. Burden and his crew face impossible moral choices across six tense scenarios—deciding who lives, who dies, and what price to pay to stop interstellar genocide. This minimalist point-and-click thriller strips away traditional adventure tropes to focus purely on narrative puzzles and gut-wrenching decisions where every action carries devastating consequences.
- An innovative departure from the traditional point and click adventure taking place in six intimate, tension-filled scenarios linked together through an epic narrative of interstellar espionage.
- Set morals aside as you navigate Sgt. Burden and his team through harrowing predicaments and make decisions that will either save your team or sacrifice their lives for the sake of the mission.
- Solve a wide variety of narrative puzzles and moral dilemmas using your own wits and burden the consequences of your choices. Do you intimidate or comfort your hostages to maintain your tenuous control of the situation? Should you kill the weakest member of your party to save on food for the strong? What is one life worth in the face of annihilation?
- Receive your judgment from the gods upon failure and compare your choices to all other players in the universe over time.
- Over 1,500 beautifully designed sprites tell your story against 15 stunning backgrounds and an emotionally stirring orchestral soundtrack.

I shot all my people in chapter 4 and ate them.2 found this helpful
I don't really get this game. It's a resource/time management game disguised as a "puzzle" game, but the puzzle is that you need to know the solution/patterns ahead of time to survive.2 found this helpful
Even with the cheesy narrative, uninspired aesthetic and primitive mechanics, the complexity of problem-solving in-game makes the experience very engaging. I just recommend that you choose "Puzzle Mode" when starting a save, since the luck factor in some contexts and actions can be frustrating, as makes success impossible. Ps: game won't consider who lived or died on completed levels for script matters.2 found this helpful
This is a more resource management puzzle/strategy game than anything else. It has a great narrative especially with the DLC. The game is difficult and challenges you to discover each chapter's mechanics to optimise resources. Even so it's pretty well balanced, challenging but fun. The steam reviews definitely don't do the game justice. I feel like the game hasn't been properly marketed and hasn't reached the proper target audience of strategy resource management lovers. If strategy, min max optimising, and resource management don't interest you, you'll likely find the game too hard or boring (and complain about rng lol). Though it does have different difficulty levels, and the narrative alone is worth the experience. The only issues are the lack of a save option mid game, and speed at which some actions/animations take place. This means each chapter much be finished within a single session, and some actions end up being a tedious1 found this helpful
An absolutely beautiful resource management game. Really enjoyed the variety of levels.1 found this helpful
