The Alchemist Shop: An Apprentice's Life is a game that mixes Visual Novel and Solitaire. You play as Faih, a young alchemist that just managed to be hired by Arcani, the owner of the BEST Alchemist Shop of the continent. You will be in charge of the shop for 15 days and must deliver the best potions possible if you want to keep your job. Are you up to the task?

You have to manage a board full of cards using a solitaire-like mechanic. You can only move a card on top of another with a value higher than theirs.

If you don't mind the pressure of short time limits, then you may like this. The story is silly, and made even more comical by typos, poor grammar, and incorrect descriptions. My favorite was a table being called a balcony. After completing the short story, you can then play the Arcade mode. The goal is to place colored cards that represent herbs and elements to create a potion. Each recipe has different strengths that you must meet. Can you complete all of the recipes before the end of the day?7 found this helpful

cute game, as a bit of a grammar freak it drove me a bit insane with the typos but I also think it provided a quirky little charm to the game!
