THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake

I normally don't like to review games without finishing them but this really just sucks. The graphics are terrible in a boring way and the game just feels bland and soulless. Just play 2 and 3 on wii if you can, that is way more fun than this remake.

I probably spent over a $100 in quarters throughout my childhood playing the original arcade every vacation I went with my parents that had it, paid like 2 bucks for this and I feel more ripped off.

Extremely too much money for a 30-40 minute experience, I have nothing else to say besides it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ without the hardware futher making the cost dumb.

Mixed vibes. It's basically the first game except it got a hair transplant and some dental implants. It's nice for a nostalgia visit. It it holds true to the original, whether it be the good or the bad. The visuals are cool. The performance can be iffy at times. It can be beat quickly, but It has some replay value? This, that, and the third. But it is enjoyable. Being a fan and playing most of them, from the original at an Arcade, up to Overkill on the Wii; I had to check this out. Yes it isn't the greatest, but it isn't junk either. Worth checking out when it's on sale.

Bought it for pure nostalgia as it was very cheap. Played a quick session just for remembering old times. Then played it again in coop with my partner and it was ridiculously fun.

beat the game in less than half an hour, i spent a few minutes tweaking the settings cause both the cutscenes and gameplay kept stuttering. icl the gameplay and game itself is nostalgic, but i don't remember this first game as much as it's sequels. it's charming but the lighting and colors seem a bit off but it's not that bad. I feel like this game could actually be good with a few simple fixes and maybe an online multiplayer mode to relive that 2 player arcade experience.
