Ancient civilizations are scattered throughout the galaxy. They have the most unusual and functional lifeforms.
Some are huge and have brutal strength, others are tiny and crawl for resources. There are those who are swift and threatening, chances are you’ll hear them before you see them.
Although many of us suspect alien life exists, the ones who say it out loud are thought as crazy, conspirators, or paranoid. Someone, in a far corner of the universe, was aware of their existence and manipulated them to do its bidding.
This sovereign of shadows curbed them using orbs as a decoy in the form of an offering, making them his subjects. These orbs are attached to their bodies and force them to do their will.
Now, these alien puppets have assembled into their own intergalactic order to carry out their sinister plans
GET ORBS AND SAVE THE WORLD!
The player begins the game with a simple laser gun, the ability to teleport, and slow-time.
Aliens enter from outside the playable map, and as the rounds progress, difficulty increases.
As players fight the aliens, they receive orbs. These orbs are used to upgrade weapons and hire perks.
Other perks, called drops, have a chance to only be dropped after an alien is killed.

'The Last From Mars' is a pretty traditional alien shooter. You get wave after wave of cute looking aliens all wanting to eat you alive, or maybe implant their eggs into your stomach. There is only one play area here and a handful of guns with a few powerups thrown in for good measure. It looks OK I guess and feels OK to play, but none of it is original and there is nothing 'stand-out' here. I would have liked to have seen it a little chapter than £5.79 (the current asking price) as there isn't a lot of content here, but even so, I feel you will probably get your money's worth if you take the time to get into the game. Personally, I found it all too..."meh" to bother with, but I do still recommend it (I just wish I could be neutral about it).6 found this helpful
It may start easy at first but soon enough after a few waves it becomes a very fast pace arcade shooter. You need good reflexes in order to shoot through hordes of enemies, using special abilities and power ups. That said, I'm a bit sensitive to motion sickness but I haven't had any issues with this game. Of course, since it's on Early Access you may experience some glitches but I had the game for a while and the team is very receptive of the community and they are constantly pushing updates. Disclaimer: I've received this game for free via Curator Connect. The Last From Mars is a mediocre VR wave shooter, that looks and plays like students project from 2016. Gun handling is awful: futuristic weapons feel like nerf guns, while recoil awkwardly yanks in-game hand to the side with each shot. Visuals are quite ugly, and bright green helmet UI makes it even worse. Enemy models are aggressively bad and amateurish, as you can see from the screenshots. The game works on Reverb G2 with default controller binding.1 found this helpful
