✦ AI summary

The Sims 2 Legacy Collection is widely praised by players as the best entry in the franchise, with compelling life simulation gameplay, meaningful expansion packs, and deep systems that keep players engaged for hours. Common complaints center on technical issues and crashes that require modding knowledge to resolve, though players generally feel the effort is worthwhile. Most reviewers recommend purchasing the game, particularly for fans of the series or those seeking a more feature-rich alternative to recent Sims titles.

very fun and addicting game but there are some things i would like fixed one is the dogs straving themselves but the main one i would liked fixed is alien abduction doing it normally doesn't work, summon aliens doesn't work and even the cheat code doesn't work and i even tried installing a mod but that didn't work either please fix this i really want more alien sims in my neighbourhood please

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EA complete broke the UI; it's tiny on fullscreen, and everything people have suggested to fix it no longer works. A friend who uses Steam Deck says it looks fine, so maybe if you have that it'll be okay, but on actual PC, the UI is ridiculously small unless you play on strictly in windowed.

Brings back great childhood memories. Better looking graphics and overall the optimized game runs a lot smoother than its old versions. However, the game crashes relatively often - can't say this is something I was not prepared to experience as all my life I remember all sims games being quite prone to crashing. Therefore, I am not complaining too much about this as making frequent saves is a habit for me that's been acquired over the years, but ngl I kinda expected this to be fixed. Nevertheless, I will keep playing anyway until i get bored and the cycle restarts again in a few months :)
