Meet June, a spunky Chinese-American college student trying to make sense of her complicated relationship with her immigrant mother.
This is the love story between her and Miles, a quiet artist who is recovering after a harsh past with mental illness.
Set on a scenic stargazing trip, create your stories among the stars as you hear powerful narratives from the hidden ways Asian parents say “I love you” to the social isolation of depression. Our game is a vignette into modern relationships, a story that will leave you calling your close ones to tell them you love them.

A short tale told through both the male & female perspectives on how it feels to struggle with identity and the coming together of both sides in a loving, supportive way. You take on the role of June, a Chinese-American college student who finds herself sharing a class with a thoughtful, quiet man named Miles. The two find themselves sharing a lot of similar interests and eventually start dating. June is more outgoing, free to speak her mind and be openly expressive while Miles is withdrawn, quiet and reserved. June’s story explores her strained relationship with her mother and the lack of communication between them. Also June’s experience with Western culture. The beauty standards, the expectations and the discrimination. Miles loving and patiently listens to her pain and supports her with love and comfort. The Space in Between is a really beautiful exploration of the self - identity in isolation and across time - and with a partner. While the story is simple, the constellations supply little vignettes into Miles and June's lives in a way that feels honest and introspective. 4/101 found this helpful
