I'm sorry, but I can't wait an hour and get empty rooms like three or four times in a row. Is this even a game? The only nice thing is the main menu song, which reminds me a little of "Dalentarth" from Kingdoms of Amalur, but a little more sped up. https://youtu.be/U-Uqmy02XJ82 found this helpful
I actually like this game a lot! Yes I have to wait an hour to open a door and I have no problem with it. I feel like I will own this game for a long time and I always look forward to open another door, I find it really rewarding finding a cool relic or the path to the next floor with that added risk or needing to wait an hour to try again.
Warning: AI Slop The developer used talentless, offensive AI slop for peripheral marketing materials.
"The Tower of Aether" is complete garbage... I'm not kidding. All you do in this "game" is open a door, get a bit of "loot" and repeat. The catch: You have to wait ONE HOUR between door openings... and what do you get out of it? Crap. Really, the developer created stubs for Steam Marketplace interaction... this really was going to be an attempt to make a clicker scam like "banana", once more abusing the "Totally not NFTs, just like them in every way" Steam Community Marketplace so people can buy and sell the crap "NFT" like items they might find behind doors. Looks like the developer failed in their attempt. Great. This game looks a lot better visually than the actual gameplay. It could be the developer purchased high-end assets (no proof of that), or somehow managed to create great-looking assets while delivering a mediocre game, in this case it could be either... but there's no hard proof this is an asset flip. But as always, ethics of asset flipping aside (whether this is one or not), what matter…
I don't like that this game makes you wait an hour to open doors, only to have nothing on the other side of them. I think this is a ridiculous idea, so I won't be recommending this game.
A game with promises, but poorly implemented: monotonous gameplay, little content, and little motivation to continue.
