GOAT.

What an incredible game, there are few games out there where you find yourself caring for the npcs of the world, and I don't mean the main cast of npcs I mean every minor npc. This game makes you care for characters you only see for a handful of minutes through incredible story craft and design. I found myself thinking about the game and the choices in it when I wasn't playing it, and some choices left me contemplating for hours on what decisions to make because I cared to make decisions that I felt were the rights ones to make. The graphics of this game are old, the combat is old, the movement is clunky and odd, but none of that matters, the story of this game feels as fresh as ever, and it is truly something that I am glad to have experienced.

Dragon Age: Origins is a game similar to Warcraft 3/Dota 1 (for those of you who have played them), but with a much stronger focus on story and narrative. It’s a great game for something released in 2009, although unfortunately, the graphics don’t look that good. (Compared to Dota 2 at the time, Dota 2 still had better-looking graphics.) For the story, I’d give it 8/10. Ending: 10/10. Gameplay: 8/10. The early game is very exciting, but unfortunately, as you reach the middle and late game, the battle strategies become repetitive, which can get boring. Overall, I’d give the game an 8/10. I finished it on Normal difficulty in 21.5 hours. This is an estimated completion time for the main storyline only.

Old school glory! I love this game aesthetically (esp modded) and the voice acting & story-telling is first rate. The creaky 32-bit Eclipse game engine is an acquired taste.
