Only 5 hours in, but it's really nice to see new devs morphing the original Slay the Spire formula and making great and unique adaptations to its core gameplay. Three Kingdoms is genuinely fun and implements several new mechanics that work well. The user interface makes the game easy to understand. Definitely a hidden gem in the ever expanding card battler ecosystem. A noticeable piece that needs some love is the English translation, where a few cards have some broken English, but they are still quite understandable, especially after you've actually played a few runs.1 found this helpful
The game is fun and has its own unique ideas. You should try it if you're feeling bored with STS. It's a must-buy when it's on sale.
Great game, refreshing mechanics and really addicting. One good feature is that there is a button to unlock all difficulty levels, so you don't have to grind once you feel you have a handle on it.
Really good roguelite in the style of slay the spire but with the style of the three kingdoms china period. The gameplay, cards, characters and tokens all give you a lot of fun playtime
This is a pretty sweet game! It's god fun art, intriguing characters and vibe, and the cards are fun, and it's satisfying to unleash crazy combos or build decks focused on or two interactions. Card balance feels pretty good overall. I've only played the archer hero so far, but it's a fun ride through blood moon. The start of the game is a little easy, but successive buff enemies. In later levels it can pose a satisfying challenge. I'm tempted to criticize the relic balance, but the variety is kinda fun. Sometimes the early stages are about holding on until you can find an OP relic to bring your deck together. Overall very, solid game that was well worth it for me.
A deckbuilder with similarities to slay the spire but with it's own ideas! If you like the setting of the three kingdoms area and deckbuilder this game is for you!
