Toziuha Night is a 2D side-scrolling action platformer with features of a metroidvania RPG. Travel through different non-linear maps set in a dark fantasy world; such as a gloomy forest, demon-infested dungeons, a ruined village and more!
Play as Xandria, a beautiful and skilled alchemist who, using an iron whip, fights against the most fearsome demons and other alchemists seeking to obtain a millenary power. To accomplish her mission, Xandria will use various chemical elements to perform powerful attacks and spells.

You'll have to do a bit of grinding and the exploration requires A LOT of platforming. However? It is STILL doable, and the rewards are well worth it. I personally had fun. I will recommend the Witch version, which allow you to do magic based focus2 found this helpful
extremely well made game, solid story and character writting for a metroidvania, very rewarding map to explore and great difficulty and enemy variety, gameplay itself and it's physics are very smooth to control. I think anyone who likes castlevania or metroidvanias in general should try this one1 found this helpful
Scuffed Igavania kino
great Metrovania, lots of fun, good sprites big game, good music...but also some cryptic stuff like la mulana to get the real end and some sidequests
Very solid metroidvania with some early game balancing issues. once you get past the early game hump, this game is amazingly good. Controls rather well, with the exception of whip swinging and wall jumping, both of which are a little janky. Its nothing too unmanageable though.
Was going in expecting Castlevania and wasn’t disappointed. A nice mix of Circle of the moon and Order of Ecclesia. LOOOOTS of backtracking and getting lost though and that might turn some people away but if you stick with it your in for a great time.
