The pixel art is absolutely gorgeous, the characters are memorable, and the soundtrack is decent. The story also starts off really strong and had me genuinely invested in what was going to happen next. Unfortunately, the story doesn't feel finished. Around the halfway point the game suddenly shifts its focus and becomes filled with sexual jokes and conversations. None of it is explicit (just words), but it quickly starts overshadowing the actual plot. Some moments are genuinely hilarious, [spoiler] like when Sei casually reveals she somehow has 20 GB of ♥♥♥♥ pics stored on her storage. Whaaat the.. that's wild 😂 [/spoiler] Still, those kinds of jokes become so frequent that they end up taking away from what could have been a much stronger story. It's a shame because the game has a lot of potential. If it had stayed focused on its narrative instead of leaning so heavily into the sexual humor, I think I would have enjoyed it much more. Sadly, I can't really recommend it in its current state.
