★☆☆☆☆ Terrible! [h1]Puzzle[/h1] Worst game ever, and I'm not even joking. It's not that hard to satisfy me as a gamer, but this game failed completely. It begins with the sound, I have the German version and the robot sounds just horrible! I just can't listen to without having my ears bleed. They just recycled the same texture and it's not even good looking. And this is even more frustrating, because games with less developers have much more appealing graphics. The puzzles are frustrating, because they aren't nearly as understandable than the ones in Portal were. Puzzle games have to face this enemy. And for me personally, the puzzles in Twin Sector just were confusing, which is enforced by the strange physics. Huge boxes fly to the air and bounce of the ground as tennis balls. This game also misses a soul. Portal had this fantastic humour, but Twin Sector has no atmosphere at all. [hr][h3][i]This game has so much wasted potential the idea of it is cool, but the game itself is so poorly executed.[/i][/h3][/hr]

Twin Sector is an ancient game from 2009. It's a whopping 16 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for the typical features of modern gaming PCs, hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on contemporary machines. The game looks and feels dated. Despite this lack of modernisation, it carries a pretty high price tag for such an old game. This seems to have be lingering on Steam with an inflated price to try profit from abandonware. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. You even get 4K support, but before you grab your credit card to buy this, the developer doesn't know about drop down menus. The game starts at 720p Windowed mode. So you need to click through the resolutions one at a time, for each refresh rate at 720p, until you get to the next highest resolution... and repeat... until you get all the way up to 4K. It takes longer to configure the graphics for this game than it does to complete it.…

Just don't buy it, trust me.

Played through the game twice. It is fascinating but sometimes really unforgiving and frustrating. I know the game is older and not sure if there will be updates but here's what I'd recommend: - A setting for unlimited glove power - A setting for less enemies (drones, orbs, lasers, turrets) - A workshop / Editor for custom levels I'd recommend this game for - hardcore gamers who don't get easily frustrated for trying over and over after a failed scenario - if so, maybe buy the game when it's on sale

The game is a lot better than the broken, asset flips, trashware with little to no gameplay that flood Steam and are sold for 5 euros/dollars a piece, I will give it that. I got it from a giveaway and after reading the reviews I was expecting it to be at least as bad as " The God's Chain" another giveaway fodder and my definition of an unplayable product and a company that should be banned from Steam. Anyways, back to Twin Sector. The graphics of the game are decent, aged enough to show the game's age, yet charming in their old school aesthetic of dulled greyed out colors and industrial design with bright visuals for fire and important elements and so on. After launching the game I was surprised when I realized the game has a plot, voice acting and even decent cutscenes! Another point for it in my book that separates Twin Sector, a game I had never heard of before, from supposed "indie game" cashgrabs devoid of gameplay. This is really, an actual, complete game and not a dev scam! Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised by the above but I have played so many fake games recently that are marketed as complete games that I've started to look at every unknown bargain-priced game with suspic…
