Unworthy

Unworthy is not that unworthy of a title. Setting: 8/10 The game gives you dark vibes through a black and white scenery and minor disturbing elements like gross enemies, pixel gore and medieval structures. I personally found the black and white pretty interesting, it gave the game quite the aura; RPG/Metroidvania elements: 8/10 Even if the game is a bit short, it's full of secrets and quest you can discover through the map (of course, in relation to the size of the map). Not everything is immediate, you have to go back and fourth after unlocking new weapons/powers. You discover items, runes and everything that will help your character power up. It was an enjoyable experience, and not tiring at all; Story: 8/10 It's not that bad but it's not perfect. The story is something you could probably figure out alone, but the way it was narrated was pretty good, through little cutscenes, dialogues and notes left through the map. Probably something you've already heard about but shown in a different shape. Some things are more profound than you think; Combat/Gameplay: 9/10 Pretty fun ngl. the stamina regen is way to slow. 60% a combat is just waiting for ur stamina to regen the difficulty is not hard or easy instead is cheap, most of the enemies can 2-3 shot u for no reason. they exploration.. why does everthing has to be locked ? why? u need to find random keys, the locations never explained or suggested and the run backs are just a waste of time. there are no other souls like games annoyed me like this one the game would be great with more stamina regen, bosses deal less damage and less "u need a key to progress" instead of a boss guarding the entrance

Its a strange beast, dark, pixelated 2D action adventure, with some RPG elements. But there is nothing to dislike :D

Bit rough around the edges, and quite slow-paced, but if you can get past that you'll find a solid 2D soulslike worth the struggle (even if getting the secret ending is quite the hassle blind)

I started replaying this. I played it for a few hours in a time long ago. But that as then. I'm sure I did not finish it before. But... This time around I notice it fails very early on. It seems obsessed with telling instead of showing. I felt like I was being lectured. Not my thing so this gets a dew claws down from me. Not to mention boring combat and... It's not meant to be a platformer but it's set up to be a platformer. And... I can see how this could work. But here it doesn't. So... yeah. I do not recommend this game.

Hidden gem, honestly amazing. Would reccomend
