Void Daggers

Having had the opportunity to playtest the game for some hours, I have several thoughts that will help you decide whether this is a game you would like to sink some time into. Firstly - the developer through the beta playtest has been very receptive to feedback and suggestions for gameplay optimisation. This is always an encouraging start as the game has, in my opinion, a lot of potential for being a very challenging FPS leaderboard chaser. Coming from a Devil Daggers veteran POV (1100+ hours), there's a lot to be gained from comparison to that game, in terms of the gameplay loop it provides, and how Void Daggers proposes to distinguish itself from it. At the moment on that front, there's more enemies, bosses, a variation in movement tech - which is a promising start. The synthesis of Geometry Wars and Devil Daggers implies a lot of gameplay variation in terms of enemies, adaptability of gameplay and mobility. There are the beginnings of this. very interesting wireframe devil daggers i would reccomend this if youve played games similar to this genre it can feel a little clunky but its a unique expeirence that brings a little bit of that same joy that devil dagger does.. just a little

Gameplay dense Arcade inspired FPS of the Dagger-like variety A bit flawed, mainly in the central dynamic that swims up as you get better, but a lot of potential.
