I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed Wanted: Dead. In this day and age, it's refreshing to be playing a weird, violent, and challenging game that simply refuses to follow the status quo.
The Good:
I start with the combat. The game is difficult but fair and manageable. I am arguably past my prime when it comes to gaming skills, but for some reason instead of being frustrated with the numerous game over screens, something always pushed me to try again and get better. Combat itself is very violent, yet stylish and has a certain weight to it. The mix of shooting with swordplay makes for quite the spectacle that never stops being enjoyable to watch. In fact, the game itself has a unique charm to it and the overall art design, characters, cutscenes, environments, and all the weird humor in between work hand in hand to enhance the experience. All of this made for an experience where I cared about learning the lore and character backgrounds, which is more than I can say for most other contemporary games.
The Bad:
As enjoyable as the gameplay is, it comes with a certain level of jank. The camera can have a mind of its own in tight corners and at…

Do you remember those PS3 games you’d come across every now and then that were unique IPs? This game gives me the same feeling: it feels experimental, as if it’s trying to do things differently; it doesn’t feel as polished as the big AAA titles, but rather gives the impression that it wants to try out new things: controls, mechanics, animations… It has that nostalgic feel of a game from a bygone era and the storyline of an 80s sci-fi film. The reviews were critical of this game, but I disagree – something doesn’t have to be easy to play to be entertaining, nor does it need a storyline that’s the next big cinematic hit. I like the sense of experimentation and discovery that this game offers.

I most say understand some of the mixed reviews for this game but I enjoy this game a lot. I find gameplay good and part of the story even if the story is little bit messy in bigger picture. I think also this game better with a controll then keyboard and mouse. I only find that out at the final boss lmao. it so mush easier to block, dash, do melee combat with controll then K&B. When first find out this game I was thinking was more cover shooter but it mix hack and slash with some cover shooter elements. one problem I have with this game is it has too many SMG and Shotgun. I think would like have something like sniper rifle in the game then like 3 SMG and Shotgun that kinda feel the same but they have some different in states. they exist a LMG in the game but barely saw compared to other weapons you can pick up. other critcism I have I wish health bare was little bit better since don't get a lot of health in this game and you only start with 2 healing items until you unlock skills for you have more and have more healing effect. otherwish a good game even some the acting could be better and they're some nitpick stuff with it but no game is prefect.

I hope you are ready for a challenge. It's actually pretty merciless in some ways. Some of the enemies are relaxed but many of them are truly out for blood! It's a pretty kick-ass XB360 style of game. It's kinda old-school and I like how it doesn't try so hard and complicate things or drag things out. It can get rough though. Not a bed-time game. The camera can get janky, so keep that in mind, but once again, that's ole school for ya. It's pretty intense and I respect that. Won't cost ya an arm 'n and leg either. I got it for an unbelievable price.
