About Xeodrifter
Xeodrifter is the story of an interstellar drifter traveling the stars on a simple mission of exploration. We join our nomad as he embarks on the investigation of a small cluster of four planets in the omega sector, after a collision with a rogue asteroid damaged his warp core.
A scan of the neighboring planets revealed a number of energy signatures, which may provide the special material needed to replace the damaged warp core and get back to cruising through the cosmos. However, what began as a routine away-mission to fix his engine quickly spirals into a dangerous game of search, shoot, and survive.
Blast your way through alien landscapes, seek out valuable secrets, and defeat ancient guardians to unlock powers from a legendary supreme culture in this exciting journey of mystery and adventure.

The fullscreen issue is impossible to fix. I've tried everything and nothings worked. Looks like the devs aren't interested in fixing it either.
Great little game. This is my 2nd time beating it. Great for a 1 sit down play through. If you like retro Metroid this is a must play! Definitely recommend.
This game was not for me. The play it until the skill and luck line up is too frustrating for a guy like me with limited time for gaming. I need a higher effort-to-fun payoff.
I think that there is a solid foundation to a good game here, but truthfully this one just wasn't for me. I don't think it's bad by any means so I don't want to leave a negative review. I just didn't click with it. Maybe if I try it again in the future and my opinion changes I will update my review.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get this game to run properly. The game will outright crash if I try certain window sizes. When using any of the 'working' resolutions or full screen, the screen is flashing a lot and the game freezes in the intro cutscene. From what I've seen with other reviews, it may have something to do with my display's refresh rate (60Hz) but I don't think I'm able to lower that further? I'll update/delete this review if I become aware of a fix but right now I can't recommend paying $10+ for a indie game that can't run on modern systems.
Technically this is a pretty nice game, if you could play it. I enjoyed the game before it was broken, so if you manage to get it properly running.. It is good. I wanted to replay it in 2026 and my only working resolution was in 420x240/480x270 on a widescreen or a 16:9 monitor. It went through all possible combinations (2x, 3x, fullscreen off/on, aspect ratio etc.) , but nothing works. Only 1x scale (thats soooo tiny) is properly displaying the game correctly all else cuts out 2/3 of the game. Will change the review to positive once the developer fixes this issue.
