Zortch (Maxinum Against The Brainsuckers) is a charming game through and through. Every weapon feels like it's worth using (except the wrench, sadly). The pistol is good for turtling one's self and at a height advantage. The Shotgun excels at protecting you while exploring. The SMG is also a sniper and pops heads better than anything else you have. Dynamite, the Grenade Launcher, and the Flamethrower are all useful for various forms of crowd control, and the Brain is your BFG. While I never really found a reason to use Trip Mines, the fact they are a selectable weapon means you can pick up mines already placed as traps, thereby granting more options for movement in combat. Movement is fast. While you can't shoot while sprinting, the sheer speed you get from it is invaluable for repositioning. Even when the game is actively trying to trap you I never felt cornered, out of movement options, or otherwise without recourse to avoid death. The sound is good, on average. The music and environmental sound effects aren't bad by any means, but there's something about the sound quality that made them a bit grating for my sensitive wittle ears. The gun sound effects aren't as impactful as I'…3 found this helpful

Enjoyed the game quite a bit. For 5 bucks its totally worth it not enough n64 era looking fps in the indie scene.
Absolutely phenomenal. This game works off of it's inspirations so well that it can easily pass as being made 25 years ago. You can easily feel that this game was made with love for the genre, all of the weapons are fun to use and the enemies are fun to engage with, and the humor and the way that the game doesn't take itself fully seriously really adds to the fun and enjoyment. Add to that the level design is done thoughtfully and allows for multiple ways to finish a mission, and the movement opens avenues for player expression by letting the player decide the pacing of encounters. Easiest recommendation of my life. Especially with that price tag, which honestly could be 3 times what it is and my appraisal would not change.
I have balls cancer
This game is really nice. It reminds me of the first Quake. It is very original and has a good gunplay.
