This is a good game, well-polished and -designed. It is just not my type of game. What I expect is a civilization-like 4X colonization game, but it is not. it is more like a card game with puzzle solving. Each scenario represents a puzzle, you manage the resources and choose carefully each step (ability, explore and building cards) to reach the final victory. It is certainly fun for a certain type of players.

Main issue is basically the RNG, like most roguelikes it's just done badly here as well.... This game just doesn't do it well, the areas they use it in are all the areas that will ruin any kind of game you have running. Tying all your most vital resources to the will of the Universe while adding a ton of junk to the rotation and no way to ban or block many of the useless buildings in this game, the "roguelike" elements to this game just ruin it in my opinion. Truly a horrible decision from the developer. Another thing I very much disliked is the "on a timer" mechanic of public opinion. I know they need something to keep the game going, but I found this mechanic to be more exhausting than engaging. It is made worse by having the game very reliant on RNG so you will often spam through lots of turns without finding anything useful, which is sadly the hallmark of a mediocre roguelike. Outside of all of that, there is just a lot to not like in the UI, how the game plays. It's a perfectly passable game but the longer I played it the more I disliked things about the game until I just couldn't play anymore... tedious doesn't do this game justice. The resources in the game are awkward.. …

Really fun game. It often feels like a board game, but in a good way. It also has the one-more-turn effect on me. The only small problem for me is that after like 35 turns you can't really lose anymore and the only question is how fast you can finish the game. The game is the most fun when you are two turns away from losing for like ten turns in a row. Then it is really exciting and every desicion matters.
