This was my first Silent Hill game back when I was a kid so I have a bit of a soft spot for it despite it's many, many faults. That said, It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice that this isn't the only SH game available on Steam anymore.

I don't think I've ever written a negative review before. If I don't like a game, I usually just move on and don't write anything at all. But sadly, I have to make an exception for a franchise that I love. Konami, could you please put the source code of this broken game through ChatGPT and fix the bugs we've all been complaining about for the past 18 years? Silent Hill: Homecoming deserves some love.

I'm a huge Silent Hill fan and wanted to play thru them all, but damn.. this might just be the worst game ever. Unappealing environments, horrible storyline, and THE MOST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ controls imaginable. Dodge mechanic doesn't work half the time and actually sends you towards enemies, making combat truly relentless. Not to mention all the bugs, visual glitches, and crashes. UPDATE: now I can't finish the game even if I want to. I'm supposed to be guiding Elle out of the sewers but she just simply isn't reappearing in my save file, nor are the enemies, and I'm unable to progress.
