✦ AI summary

Horizon Zero Dawn™ Remastered is praised by players as an engaging sci-fi action game with compelling combat, stunning visuals, and a rich world that easily captivates players for 100+ hours, though some note occasional performance inconsistencies in NPC-dense areas and minor issues like dialogue lip-sync problems. The game is widely recommended for fans of stealth, sci-fi, and robot-themed narratives, with players suggesting it's worth playing whether you're new to the series or returning for the remaster.

I actually really like Horizon Zero Dawn, but the Remastered version is unfortunately plagued by technical issues. The game crashes way too often, and I keep running into sound bugs, visual glitches, and other display issues. It’s especially frustrating because I genuinely enjoy the game otherwise. It’s a shame that such a great game is held back by so many technical problems. For me, the technical side is currently a 0/10.

Having spent 81 hours playing this Complete Edition, I still have to recommend it. BUT honestly, the gameplay feels really outdated (playing it for the first time in 2026). It follows the classic Ubisoft-style open-world formula with tons of activities and a high density of encounters, which—at least in the first half of the game—are pretty challenging and get quite annoying after a while. Once you unlock fast travel, walking anywhere on foot no longer makes sense... I really enjoyed the unique setting and even the story—it’s not super original, but it’s solid. The real issue is the story's pacing and presentation: out of 50 hours of gameplay, you spend only about 3 hours on actual story missions, mostly wandering through cave-bunkers while listening to audio logs or reading datapads... 7/10. If the setting doesn't hook you right from the start, it's not worth playing for the gameplay alone. No issues about visial presentation and performance

At first glance it is a bit more colorful, but that is all. Since the graphic engine can't offer anything new (more), I can't recommend to buy the game, espacially when you own standard copy. I really hoped there would be more visual improvements. So NO, don't waste money on game like me.

One of the best games I've ever played with easily one of the best stories in gaming. Can't wait to play the sequel!

Very cool concept of what the world would be like after an AI apocalypse.
